Communal Living

Our clients have a number of communal lounges and area’s to relax whether it is to watch television, listen to music, read, play games, join in with Woodford House activities or chat to other residents.

There are two main lounges equipped with televisions, DVD players and music entertainment systems, whilst our large southern facing conservatory is the ideal place for clients to enjoy a cup of tea and afternoon nap.

A quiet room is also offered to those clients who may want to relax or entertain friends in privacy.

All rooms including hallways and seating areas are tastefully decorated generating a homely feel whilst retaining the practicalities required for our clients and nursing care. Wide hallways for wheelchair access, ramps, rails, passenger lift and emergency assistance buttons are provided throughout the building.

Woodford House is set in the pretty rural village of Trysull and enjoys north facing view of the village green, whilst the southern facing gardens back onto the local sports recreation grounds.

Garden furniture including parasols provide a lovely setting for our clients to while away a sunny afternoon amidst the backdrop of the flowered garden and selection of birds who inhabit it.
