We have owned the home since 2000, during this time we have refurbished the home to modern day standards and also increased the capacity and communal areas by means of an extension.
The home stands in a beautiful village setting with us commanding a prime position overlooking the village green to the front of the property and open playing fields and cricket pavilion to the rear.
Our staff are highly trained, committed, caring people who enjoy providing a caring, sociable environment for our clients.
This is the clients home, clients and relatives are encouraged to be involved in their plan of care, and we try to ensure that independence is maintained at all times. Enablement of clients is foremost in our package of care to maintain and improve independence.
Clients with mental health and dementia care needs excel in the home; staff have exhaustive training to ensure they are equipped to care for the needs of clients with differing aspects of physical, psychological and social needs.
The aim of Woodford House is to
provide a home from home family environment for our clients, encouraging freedom of choice and individuality. All clients are treated with equality whilst denoting the diversity of clients’ personal and social needs.
