Palliative Care
We offer a full and compassionate palliative care to the chronically and terminally ill directed towards improving our client’s quality of life.
Our care focuses on the control of pain and symptoms whilst our highly experienced team work hand in hand with the multidisciplinary team, family and friends to help everyone through this difficult period.
Our palliative care programme integrates the physical, psychological, social and spiritual aspects of care to support clients and their families during their time at Woodford House. Palliative care is a vital part of all clinical practice, regardless of the illness or its development.
Woodford House forms part of the local community palliative care service, working alongside GP practises, Compton Hospice, community nurses and other support groups such as Macmillan cancer support services and Marie Curie.
