Meet our team of dedicated professional carers and administrators

Mr Keith Bedwood and Mrs Juliet McDonagh trading as Heart of England Properties Ltd jointly own Woodford House. Mr Bedwood is a diligent businessman who has other business interests outside of healthcare.

Julie McDonagh is currently Director/Registered manager for Woodford House. She has been in post since the beginning of January 2002 and is an RGN who holds a Bsc (Hons) Health Studies, Diploma in Management studies and the Registered Managers Award. Her background for the latter of her career has been in nurse management for adult nursing, although her Registered Nurse career began in 1987.

Julie is supported by a Deputy Manager who is a qualified nurse with a wealth of care home/NHS experience. The care team is made up of several Registered Nurses and Registered Mental Nurses, senior carers and carers. 90% of our care staff have either completed Non Vocational Qualifications in care or are registered on a programme at present.
